My brother, Dr. Henry Virkler, sent
me an email this week with the following statement in it. And for the record,
in our 73 years together, he has NEVER made such a statement!
I’ve never
said this about any humanly written book before, but I think this
is a book that every person, Christian or not, should read. I’ll explain
briefly why. The authors, two Europeans who are unknown to most
American readers, say there is one issue that every person needs to answer: Is there a
supernatural Creator, or can the universe, and all life, including human life,
be explained as simply the product of natural processes acting on matter (i.e.,
materialism)? (End of Henry’s quote)
Personally, I’m convinced that God
exists because He speaks to me daily as I commune with Him. He gives me
wonderful counsel, guidance, a positive worldview, healing, and much more.
Plus, I have used the name of Jesus to cast thousands of demons out of hundreds
of people. So, I am good in my conviction that there is a God, the Creator and
Sustainer of the universe.
However, some of my friends would
benefit from this compilation of scientific evidence, and since this book
provides that in a clear, easy fashion, then it would be worth getting. It is
nice when science comes along and says, “The Bible was right all along.”
This book lays out cutting-edge scientific discoveries.
The Kindle version of God: The
Science, The Evidence: is available for $11.99, and this is
for a 562-page book. Wow! What a steal. I could sure read this during vacation.
They provide free reading of the
introduction and into Chapter One, at the link above. You will see it is
down-to-earth, readable, and interesting. You may want to check it out and let
your friends know.

people who want a quick introduction to whet their appetite in case they need a
